Harissa Chicken
Ingredients:
2 - 3 pounds chicken thighs (boneless or bone-in)
Marinade:
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 Tablespoons harissa paste
10 garlic cloves
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 Tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 Tablespoon ground cumin
1 Tablespoon ground coriander
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons ground cardamom
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Marinade:

Directions:
Whisk all of the marinade ingredients together in a large bowl. Trim the excess fat from the chicken and put it in a gallon ziploc bag. Add the mareinade and rhe chicken.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Place the chicken on your hot BBQ. Turn chicken often until fully cooked (165°F).

Notes:
Trader Joe's has a great, inexpensive jarred harissa paste. If you don't have a Trader Joe's near you, you can find it on Amazon too (at a premium price!).
You can serve this with Cilantro Lime Aioli, or even better yet, Bell Pepper Salsa, but it's awesome with just some green beans and roasted potatoes for a simple, tasty dinner.
